Description
African Monitor, in partnership with the SDGs Kenya Forum and the Global Forum for National SDGs Advisory Bodies, invites you to this VIRTUAL side event during the Eleventh Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD-11). This panel discussion will feature esteemed representatives from South Africa's Presidency Policy and Research Unit (PRS), the South African SDG Hub and SDG Policy Support Initiative (PSI), South Africa's Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the SDGs Kenya Forum, Nigeria’s Network of NGOs, and Uganda's Coalition for Sustainable Development (UCSD). We cordially invite all attendees of ARFSD-11 to participate in this virtual side event titled "The Role of Multistakeholder Advisory Bodies in Brokering Science and Evidence Solutions to Deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Africa We Want." This session aims to foster an open dialogue on how multistakeholder advisory bodies can effectively broker scientific and evidence-based solutions to advance the aspirations outlined in Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063. Your participation will contribute to a richer exchange of ideas and collaborative strategies. We encourage you to share this invitation within your networks to ensure inclusive and broad participation. We are also interested in hearing reflections on this subject from countries not represented by the panellists.
